20 December 2005 Dear Marvin, Well I've had my canary almost a year. He has been the best bird I've ever had. Through the years I've had a lots of birds! Edgar is bossy, he can let me know when he'd like a treat, if I'm in the kitchen he lets me know maybe a tiny taste of raw carrot or apple would be nice. I just get a kick out of him when he looks at me with his head upside down. Sometimes he holds a note so long when he's singing, I expect him to turn blue and fall off his perch! I've spoiled the outside birds also, we got a heater for the birdbath to keep the water from freezing. Well I hope you and yours' have a Happy Holiday.
